The City of Ann Arbor will be hosting three open public meetings in order to gather community feedback on the short-term rental issue.
City Seeks Input to Shape Short-term Rental Property Policy Public meetings scheduled for Oct. 6, 10, 12
Dates, Locations and Times of Public Forums
- Sunday, Oct. 6, 2-4 p.m. — AADL Westgate Branch, Westside Room, 2503 Jackson Ave. (AAATA bus routes 28, 30 and 32A).
- Thursday, Oct. 10, 6-8 p.m. — AADL Traverwood Branch, Traverwood Program Room, 3333 Traverwood Drive (AAATA bus route 22).
- Saturday, Oct. 12, 9:30-11:30 a.m. (library opens at 9 a.m.) — AADL Mallets Creek Branch, Mallets Creek Program Room, 3090 E. Eisenhower Parkway (AAATA bus routes 5 and 24).
ANN ARBOR, Michigan, Sept. 10, 2019 — Whether for sports, entertainment, the vibrant downtown or lush parks, Ann Arbor is a destination for many. Some visitors stay at short-term rental properties, booked through companies such as AirBnB and VRBO. The City of Ann Arbor is considering policies to regulate short-term rental properties. In order to create policies appropriate for Ann Arbor, the city is holding three public meetings at Ann Arbor District Library (AADL) locations to gather input from residents. The meeting agenda will include examples from other communities and options for Ann Arbor. Light refreshments will be available. Children are welcome.
